This Privacy Policy explains how Jois ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you use our App.

1. Data Collection and Usage

What data is collected: We collect your email address, username, and the text/audio inputs you provide during chats.
Device Data: Device type, operating system, and crash logs to improve app stability.
How it is collected: Data is collected directly from your interactions within the App and through secure API integrations.
How it is used: To provide AI responses, improve the companion's context, maintain safety filters, and manage your account.

2. Data Sharing with Third-Party AI Services

To power the conversational experience, your interaction data is processed by our AI infrastructure providers, including OpenAI LLC, Anthropic PBC, Google LLC (Gemini), and X.AI Corp (Grok).

Purpose: Data is shared solely to generate responses.
Protection: Our partners are contractually obligated to provide equal data protection. Your personal data is NOT used to train their public foundational models.
Consent: We obtain your explicit permission via an in-app prompt before any data is shared.

3. Account Deletion

You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time via Settings > Delete Account. This will permanently erase your profile and chat history from our servers.

4. Security

We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data during transmission and storage.
